MMA AT GC COMBAT

Our MMA program combines striking, grappling, and wrestling to develop complete, well-rounded fighters. Classes focus on building technical skill, strength, and confidence in a safe, structured environment suitable for all levels.

Students learn to transition seamlessly between stand-up and ground fighting, developing cage awareness, takedown defence, and control positions. Whether you’re training for fitness, self-defence, or competition, our coaches guide you to improve every aspect of your game.

CLASSES WE OFFER

  • Striking

    Our Striking classes focus on developing powerful, technical stand-up skills inspired by Muay Thai and boxing. Students learn proper footwork, combinations, clinch work, and defensive movement, with an emphasis on adapting striking for MMA and cage control. Classes are open to all levels and provide a high-energy way to build skill, fitness, and confidence.

  • Grappling

    Our Grappling classes blend no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and ground control to create a strong foundation for MMA. Training covers takedowns, wall wrestling, positional control, escapes, and submissions, along with ground-and-pound concepts. These sessions help students build comfort in every position and confidence transitioning between striking and grappling.

  • SPARRING

    Our MMA Sparring classes give students the chance to apply their skills in a controlled and safe environment. Open to intermediate and advanced students, these sessions focus on timing, strategy, and blending striking with takedowns and grappling in live scenarios. Sparring is a key part of preparing for competition or sharpening your all-round MMA game.
